Kingston biscuits

 


Similar to the Arnott's Kingston biscuits...

Ingredients

  • 200g butter
  • 3 tbs honey
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 3/4 cup coconut
  • 3/4 cup raw sugar
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 40g butter for filling
  • 200g cooking chocolate

Method
  1. Melt together the butter and honey. Stir in oats, flour, coconut and raw sugar.
  2. Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls and flatten with a fork on a lined baking tray.
  3. Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool.
  4. To make the filling, In a saucepan, bring cream to the boil and remove from heat immediately.
  5. Stir in butter and chocolate. Mix until smooth. Cool before using to allow mix to firm up.
  6. Sandwich biscuits together with the filling.
