Fairy Biscuits

 


These are simple biscuits for children's parties.

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter softened
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbs vanilla essence
  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • 2 cups hundreds and thousands

Method
  1. Preheat fan-forced oven to 190C.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined.
  4. Add flour and mix to form a dough.
  5. Pour the hundreds and thousands into a bowl.
  6. Roll mixture into balls and flatten slightly.
  7. Drop one side of the biscuit into sprinkles, then place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes, or until slightly brown on the outside.
NOTES

You can buy different sorts of sprinkles for the top.
